I love walking through granite/stone warehouses to see what’s available for clients. It’s easy to fall in love with a huge slab since there is a lot movement and different shades and veining. Each slab is different and unique.
When choosing your granite countertops, there is so much consider. It’s important to remember that the whole slab won’t be in your kitchen/bathroom. You’ll only see a little bit of it. The smaller the surface the less pattern you want on the stone. There is nothing worse than one big vein running through a little countertop. It just looks like a crack. For smaller surfaces you might want to consider a quartz instead. However, if you have a large surface you have the freedom to go a little wild 🙂
