I love the teal and gold combination.  The gold really warms it up and adds glamour.

Teal and Gold (1 of 4)I filled one of my everyday gold bowls with the gold and teal ornaments.  Different heights in candles gives more interest than if they were the same height.  These antique gold glass candlestick holders have had so many years of enjoyment. I’ve seen very similar ones recently at HomeSense.  I love how the old has returned with a  new twist.

Teal and Gold (3 of 4) (800x533)I prefer to buy staple items likes this wreath in classic colours like gold or silver so they are more versatile.  Just change the ribbon and you achieve a completely new look.  Remember you have to store all these items so the more they can be used the better.

Teal and Gold (2 of 4) (800x533)These ornaments were from the Dollar Store but they look like a million bucks when put with other sophisticated items.

tealandgoldcomboYou could always add these finishing touches on your dining room table during the holidays.  Carrying your colours throughout the space is what gives it the ‘decorators’ touch. These everyday teal cloth napkins look festive with the snowflake resting on it.  The gold chargers also make it more formal.  Adding ribbon and an ornament is an inexpensive way to create the ‘wow’ factor. I prefer the wired ribbon to help create and hold a shape. Notice how the snowflake with the barn board are a nice casual chic look and the sparkly ornament and dark teal table cloth look rich and classy.
